I am thinking of buying a Kawasaki Vulkan 750 model, because it is the one with the shaft drive and the automatic valve adjusters. It is also easy to push around or manhandle, as is my Yamaha Virago--shaft drive. Another good model that I am considering is the Suzuki Intruder 800--shaft drive. If I get another Yamaha Virago it will be a 1100 Virago. This is the same as my 750 Virago in size and shape, but has larger pistons and is geared higher.
The Savage is my fun around town bike, but is just not up to continuous EASY cruising speeds in the seventies.
